Greek Oasis Ancient historical columns mixed with natural beauty, Greece is a romantic country that combines old with new.  I went there just a year before the Olympics to assist in building the Greek Bible Institute. This is a painting combining Mars Hill in Athens, Ancient Corinth, and ancient columns that can be found all over Athens resurrected when they were digging their subway system. Motorcycles were everywhere dodging in out of traffic that wound it's way slowly through Athens. I even enjoyed a motorcycle ride on one of the islands touring the hilly country. Spring is almost here. My tulips are showing the tips of their leaves. Snowdrops have been blooming for a month. Beautiful crocuses are in full bloom reminding me of a beautiful bridal veil. Siberian Iris's are displaying their purple beauty. What a pretty time of year. This art is property of Jodie Brown Copyright 2012. Please contact Jodie if you would like more information.

After a long hot sticky summer, Fall is almost here. Leaves will be falling. Kids going back to school. Cooler days are already on their way. This art is property of Jodie Brown. Please contact Jodie if you would like more information.

This painting turned out particularly nice. I am an interior designer and I love to make renderings. Let me know if you would like me to paint one for you. I can also do computer renderings.

I went to the DIY Ypsi event this past weekend. It was a fun event where I was able to see one of my favorite artists work by Nicole Ray. Her whimsical style brings a smile to my face in a time when there aren't enough smiles. It is especially nice to know that she is a local Ann Arbor artist. Check her out at sloeginfizz.etsy.com. It looked like the DIY Ypsi event was successful so maybe you will get to see them next year. In the mean time stop at the Blue House in Ann Arbor to see Nicole Ray's work.

Red Delicious Sweet, delicious, and crisp apples make the perfect snack for taking to school, work, or just about anywhere. It is hard to believe these beauties are actually good for your health and your teeth. This is a water color painting that I did several years ago. I love all the beautiful colors that are in an apple. This art is property of Jodie Brown. Please contact Jodie if you would like more information. Do not download or copy any of these pieces.

I painted this beautiful butterfly that I saw at the Butterfly House on Mackinaw Island for my grandmother. She has flown away home now, so I am sharing this water color piece with you.
