Have you ever been to Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois?  Once owned by Colonel R. McCormick of the Chicago Tribune, it is now a stunningly beautiful location for weddings or to tour the First Division Museum where tanks are displayed.  Truly a spot for male and female alike.  A must see for anyone in the Western Chicago area. Here's a favorite painting. It was amazing how many little dots I added to this. I was seeing dots in my sleep. Wouldn't it be nice to be at the beach right now?

I saw this arrangement in an art studion. It is too perfect. Someone else must have set it up. Still I had to draw this with my charcoal pencils.

This calf seems to be enjoying an afternoon snooze. Farming is very much a part of my life. One of my grandpas was a dairy farmer and my other trained horses. Where I grew up raising livestock was a very important skill. My best friend's family raised cattle for beef and one of my boy friend's family raised pigs.
